Netscape Communicator Configuration
- Open Netscape.
- Click on Edit and select Preferences.
- From the Category list, click the plus sign next to Mail &
Newsgroups.
- Select Identity from the list.
- In the Your name field, type your name.
- In the E-mail address field, type your email address, ie. username@yourdomain.com.

- From the Category list, click Mail Servers.
- Click the Add button.
- In the Server name field, enter mail.yourdomain.com, where
yourdomain.com is the part following the '@' sign in your email address.
- Select POP3 Server from the Server Type dropdown list.
- In the User Name field, type username.yourdomain.com
- Check the box next to Remember password if you would like to have
your password saved.
- Click OK

- In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server field, enter mail.yourdomain.com.
Note: If you are having problems with the outgoing
mail server, use the one specified by your ISP as they may not allow the use
of third-party outgoing mail servers.
- In the Outgoing mail User Name field, type username.yourdomain.com
- Click OK.

- You have successfully configured Netscape Communicator
