Outlook Express Configuration
- Open Outlook Express.
- Click on Tools and select Accounts.
- Click on Add and select Mail, which opens up the Internet
Connection Wizard.
- In the Display name field, type your name.
- Click Next.
- In the E-mail address field, type your email address, ie. username@yourdomain.com.
- Click Next.
- Click the down arrow on the My incoming mail server is a drop-down
list and choose POP3.
- In the Incoming mail server field, enter mail.yourdomain.com, where
yourdomain.com is the part following the '@' sign in your email address.
- In the Outgoing mail server field, enter mail.yourdomain.com.
Note: If you are having problems with the outgoing
mail server, use the one specified by your ISP as they may not allow the use
of third-party outgoing mail servers.
- Click Next.
- In the Account name field, type username.yourdomain.com
- In the Password field, type your password.
- Check the box next to Remember password if you would like to have
your password saved.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish.
- You have successfully configured Outlook Express.
